Capalbo, Catone, McTaggart, Williams Share Medalist Honors

PAWTUCKET -- Rocco Capalbo, Ishaan Catone, Claire McTaggart and Olivia Williams shared medalist honors after Round 1 of the 106th Junior Amateur Championship Monday at Pawtucket Country Club. 

Capalbo, of Shelter Harbor Golf Club, shot a 2-under round of 67 in the boys' division. Williams, of Potowomut Golf Club, along with McTaggart, of Rhode Island CC, both shot 1-over 74 in the girls' division. 

In the boys' U-14 division, Catone, of Button Hole GC, shot an impressive 3-over round of 72. 

Match play begins Tuesday at Pawtucket Country Club.
